does the hydrogen generator work for cars ? do I have to worry about my engine? which kit is best? how tested?
H20. there is a kit being sold in the internet that you can add to your car engine, that surpost to help speed up to 60% less on gas, while at the same time clean up your engins deadly CO, emission and reduce engine temperature. Its called home made hydrogen generator. I'm trying to find out if it works? are there any gov. test on it ? Do you have to worry about the engine? Do you have to add anything else to your engine? I would like to hear from poelpe how have tried this system.

Every time the price of gas spikes, you see more and more of these devices advertised.
There were lots of them in the middle 70s during the oil embargo and gas prices spiked. They didn't work then, they don't work now.
These devices work by using electrolysis to separate hydrogen gas from water then feed it into your intake manifold. The rip-off is that an automotive electrical system does not produce enough electricity for the system to manufacture enough hydrogen to make any difference.
Stop and think about it. If there were a device that really worked, the automobile manufacturers would be all over it. If General Motors, for example, could put a device in their vehicles that would give them a fuel efficiency advantage over their competition, they would buy up the patents and have them in every vehicle they make.
They would not be sold on some obscure website by some person selling them out of their garage.
How do I know what size hydrogen generator to use on my car.?
I have a 1994 Geo Metro. Its a tiny 3 cylinder. I would like to power most (if not all) of it on hydrogen. I would prefer to buy a remade kit, but I don't know what size im going to need. Im pretty sure im going to need to get a bigger alternator to power the generators if I want to have enough to really make an impact, but I don't know how big I should get. Im pretty sure I want a dry cell b/c they are more efficient and easier to install. I will need a control box that I can adjust the fuel ratio while im driving at different speeds so I can get the most out of it. If you have made or used one before please let me know what all im going to need. Ive found tons of kits online and I'm willing to spend the extra buck to have it premade, but I don't know what size I need.

What would be the point?
There is nothing magical about using hydrogen as storage medium for energy. It would take far more energy to transform some other form of energy into hydrogen than you could possibly recover by combusting it. Using electricity to turn oxidized or burnt hydrogen (water) back into unburnt hydrogen will result in huge net losses of energy mostly in the form of heat. Consider CNG or propane if you insist on powering your internal combustion engine with a gas.
